Number One Cup 1993 - 1999
Briefly the indie-pop darlings of Britain, Chicago's Number One Cup was a wider-ranging, more amorous creature than is commonly believed. Based on a love of song craft, they squeezed out an impressive quantity and range of experimental-pop nuggets in their 6 year existence. Seth Kim-Cohen and Michael Lenzi went on to form the much-ballyhooed The Fire Show.
