Performance/Recording
Amsterdam
2004

A three-day navigation (3-5 July) of Amsterdam determined by locating the nearest parked bicycle bell. Using a handheld cassette recorder, a recording is made of the bicycle bell. The next bell is then located and recorded. This is repeated throughout the three-day period. The result is a randomly-generated psycho-geographical perambulation through the city and a seventeen minute and forty second audio tour of the multiform bicycle bells of Amsterdam (and one bicycle horn).
