The visitor is taking in the exhibition: video, audio, documents of performances. From behind a door, a cacophonous crash – metal, wood, concrete. Seconds later, another crash. After a few moments, a worker in coveralls emerges from the stairwell, carting a wrecked drum kit in a wheelbarrow through the gallery to the corridor. By the time of the next crash, the visitor will have forgotten the drums, the wheelbarrow, and the worker. But they return like clockwork, every ten minutes for the five weeks of the exhibition.
